You and I

I love your eyes which I love to see,
cos those are the eyes that see only me...

Your presence in my life is of the most and greatest matter..
Without which my hopes and dreams would just shatter...

I see you wherever I go and in whatever I do...
And "always" is the time that I think of only you...

Just feel this the next time you look at the rain..
That someone is showering her love...she is for you in a sweet pain.

Times that we have spent,have carried me to an extreme bliss...
That the more do I think of them,the more of you,do I miss.

Destiny observed us and decided to put us to a test..
Just like how a love bird would stay away from its love in an isolated nest.

It retained us on the same land, but in different and distant parts...
Little does it realise that we are immersed in each others' thoughts and hearts

Which is not going to separate us by any amount,not even by a bit..
cos it is our souls through which our sweet bond is knit.

Oh my love!from our promises to each other that we made,
let us not swerve away from it...let us notlet them fade..

Let us upkeep our trust seldom putting it to any strain
May destiny change its mind and bring us together again..

Once it does this,may it bind us and distance us never..
Cos we are meant to be with each other..now and forever...!!:-)
