Traffic!

Standing at the bus stop and waiting for my bus,
I look forward to having a day at the office, less adruous.

Stepping into the bus and peeping through the door,
I find a seat to sit and travel for an hour more.

The bus started off on the road...
And I was thinking what to do..I was so bored..

Looking out of my window,came to my sight,
a struggle between vehicles, all the drivers' plight.

Soon did I realise that I was now in a mire called "Traffic",
Finding everyone else on the same boat...a condition so pathetic!

The people in hurry and who can't let go of time,
Try to warn each other...are they playing a mime?

Two vehicles drive up in a speed that's rash,
Seeming to cause to each other, a stupendous dash.

To let other vehicles go, can't one seem to wait,
Instead do they proceed on their ways, causing to bait.

Little do they realise, this will not clear
the traffic, that has infused in all, a kind of fear.

Hardly can one find the saviour- the "Traffic Signal",
To calm them down bringing this chaos to an absolute null.

To follow the road rules is what must one understand,
As this would solve their confusion, it being a magic wand.

To reach one's destination safe and sound,
Should each us be to the road rules, closely bound.

Hope one finds the reason as "safety and peace" to choose,
And drive by keeping in mind the essential-the road rules.

A Legend of Immortal Love..

Radha Krishna

The legends of Radha-Krishna are immortal. There are numerous legends and stories of Radha and Krishna depicting their true love. Radha's devotion and dedication towards Sri Krishna is the most sincere one. Here are some legends of Radha-Krishna portraying their love for each other.

Legend of Hot Milk:

This is one interesting story showing the eternal relation of Radha and Krishna. Radha was not married to Lord Krishna. The immeasurable love of Krishna for Radha made Krishna's wives jealous of Radha. Once, they all planned a mischief to make Radha suffer. They set out a bowl of burning hot milk. They gave the bowl to Radha, saying that Krishna had sent it for her. Radha readily drank the hot milk. When the wives returned to Krishna, they found him full of painful ulcers. This shows that Krishna resides in every pore of Radha i.e. why the hot milk didn't touch Radha, but it affected Krishna. He took all her pain and miseries upon himself.

Legend of Charanaamrit :

This is another sweet story depicting the intense love between Radha and Krishna. Once, Sri Krishna got very ill. Krishna asked that he would be alright if, he would get the Charanaamrit of a true devotee. All the Gopis were asked but none of them offered. They were afraid of committing a serious offense, by offering the water with which they had washed their feet to Sri Krishna. When Radha came to know about the situation, she said: "Take as much as you like. What does it matter if I have to go to hell as long as my Lord is released of His pain and ailment"! Radha offered the Charanaamrit with true heart. It is due to this fact; it is believed that Radha could not marry Lord Krishna. Radha loved Krishna from the core of her heart but still she offered Charanaamrit to Krishna to save him from his sickness. Radha and Krishna were celestial beings and their love was eternal. Whether they were married or not, their love made them united for ever.

My Best Friend

Sitting in a corner, thinking of what to write,
I decided to put forth a simple thought into light.

Before I share it, lemme ask you one question...
Have you ever shared with someone, a true relation?

By this, I mean to ask if you ever had one such best friend,
With whom your joys begin and problems come to an end...?

Remember this question of mine in your background,
Let me tell you one such relation, that has me to it, closely bound.

I know a girl, from a time that is very long,
Who has always been with me in my deeds-right and wrong.

She makes me laugh and has seen me cry,
Knows all that happens with me-how, when and why.

At times, when I am in a state of tension or despair,
She is the one, who first showers on me, her concern and care.

No matter where we go,we are always together...
On any day, any week, any year or be it in any weather.

Its with her, I've always been with, right from my birth.
Without whose support, my living wouldn't be of any worth.

Always do I see her, the times I look at the mirror,
Cos my best friend is "myself" who will be to me, dear forever...

I think by now, you must have got an answer to my question,
And I hope, I managed to bring a smile on your face with my narration :-)

My Keyboard

My favourite hobby is to play my keyboard,
It is something of which,I would never get bored.

Manufactured by the Casio company,is it of the model no: MA-150,
Pretty light in weight,though it seemed to me at first,quite hefty.

On it,there are about 50 tones that I can choose and play,
And about 26 rhythms,to which my heart and soul could sway.

With almost alternate keys of it being in colours black and white,
Of small size, do they look cute when they come in one's sight.

There are seven reeds namely- C D E F G A B..
That make a song-"Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti..!"

Musical notes are framed using these seven reeds,
To play a song, the knowledge of these is what one needs.

I find comfort in playing a song, not by notes, but by its tune,
Cos in that way I tend to learn the song in a time thats quite soon.

My keyboard has been with me till now, from almost six years...
Cheering me up everytime it finds me in tears.. :-)

Thanks to my dear and sweet Dad, who gifted me this,
Cos it has always taken me through journeys of soothing bliss.

I promise you-my little keyboard-to maintain your reeds properly,
And will take care of you all the time....cos I love you so dearly :-)

Your thoughts...

Let me tell you something which I feel is right,
To divert your mind and bring you out of a plight.

I was always advised-"Aim high to reach the sky,
Never hold back yourself, being timid and shy."

You may have wishes, that may make an ocean,
And to fulfil them, you need to have towards, them a passion.

To achieve your target, you'll have to think, do and be good.
So prepare a plan for it and fetch it by being shrewd.

In this life, you are going to meet people who are good and bad.
Some who'll make you happy, some who are going to make you sad.

Never let over you,the latter kind to dominate,
As its the achievement of your dreams,you'll have to procrastinate.

So spend most of your time with people who are chirpy,
Cos that shall always keep you relaxed and happy.

And to be happy indeed, let go of all your woes,
Else its your heart that is going to wander in chaos.

Build a wall of strong determination in your mind,
Then see how your confused thoughts start to unwind.

Don't let your mind, from your aims and ambitions to deviate,
Cos when you realise how things ought to be, it might be too late.

"You are what your thoughts make you"-
So get going and show everyone that this can be really true!!

Life...

Life is a beautiful journey when taken in the right sense,
Which will bring in happiness and joys that are immense.

It isn't about a policy of give and take,
cos if that happens, our conscience will be at stake.

If treated as a burden...as a pain in the neck,
At steps you take to move forward, will it slowly start to peck.

Many of them educate their minds of what is right and wrong,
But we should know that not all of them 'll sing the same kind of song.

Each of us have different views to share and hence put forward,
Even if we compare ours with others, never feel low or awkward.

There are many instances, where one needs to take a decision,
So do it with a careful introspection, before jumping to any conclusion.

To attain the desired state of salvation,
All you've to do is, serve others without any expectation.

Cos if there is a room for expectations in your heart,
its you who ends up getting hurt..tearing yourself apart.

And remember, no one can hurt you unless you allow them to do so,
Be a shield to protect yourself and let them, to your temerity, just bow.

One should put in their best efforts for virtues to be spread,
And when once achieved, never be a reason to break this thread.

So dear friend, treat your life as a gift given by HIM,
So let go of all your worries and leave behind any grim.

Stay cool and be happy, finding various ways to succeed
And make everyone think, "Ah-this is the kind of life I need :-) "
